Who we are
This website and the EMTEL network are operated by EMKABIRNET TECHNOLOGIES, a registered Nigerian business with its head office at NOAG3, Makarfi Road, Rigasa, Kaduna, Nigeria.
What we collect
We collect the minimum needed to deliver internet service: your email address, authentication identifiers, payment references, and hotspot session metadata (device MAC, session duration, plan). We do not inspect the content of your traffic.
How we use it
Data is used to activate your subscription, generate vouchers, verify payments, provide customer support, and monitor network health. We never sell your data.
Payments
Payments are processed by Monnify, OPay, and other certified gateways. We store only payment references — never your card number or bank credentials.
Data retention
Account and payment records are retained as required by law. Session logs are retained for up to 90 days for troubleshooting and abuse prevention.
Your rights
You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing our data protection contact at emkabirnet@gmail.com.
Security
All traffic between you and our systems is encrypted. Payment webhooks are HMAC-verified. Administrative actions are audit-logged.
